R410A is a HFCs refrigerant mixed with two working fluids of R32 and R125 at a mass fraction of 50% and 50%. R410a refrigerant is non-flammable, ODP is 0, and global warming coefficient value GWP is 2340, so R410a is not a truly environmentally friendly refrigerant.

The bubble point temperature of the standard pressure of R410A is -51.6°C, and the phase transition temperature slip is less than 0.2°C. It is a near azeotropic mixture, and its thermodynamic properties are very close to a single working substance. The capacity and pressure of R410A refrigerant are higher than R22, and the operating pressure is 50%-60% higher. The operating noise of R410a is significantly lower than that of R22 compressor by 2-4 decibels.

Due to the high pressure and high density of R401A, the refrigerant pipe diameter can be reduced a lot, and the compressor size and displacement can also be greatly reduced. At the same time, the high thermal conductivity of R410A liquid phase and low viscosity make it have significantly better transmission characteristics than R22.

Advantages of R410A refrigerant:

Disadvantages of R410A refrigerant:

Because the pressure is 60% higher than R22, the strength of the pressure-resistant parts of the system increases, such as various valves: four-way valves, high and low pressure valves, single-phase valves, solenoid valves, etc. The pressure strength increases (as shown in the figure below), and the operating pressure increases ; Pay attention to the compressive strength of the weak points such as the bent part, the welded part, and the stress concentration part; the diameter of the copper tube of the heat exchanger is reduced, and the strength is increased.
