What are the air conditioning refrigerants "R32" and "R410"

R32, chemical name is difluoromethane, molecular formula CH2F2. Non-explosive, non-toxic, flammable, but still a safe refrigerant. R410 is a new type of refrigerant to replace R22.

R410 new refrigerant is composed of two kinds of quasi-azeotropic mixtures, mainly composed of hydrogen, R410 refrigerant tube fluorine and carbon elements. It is stable, non-toxic, and superior in performance. At the same time, since it does not contain chlorine, it will not react with ozone and will not destroy the ozone layer. In addition, the performance of air conditioners using new refrigerants will also be improved.

R410 is the most suitable refrigerant to replace R22 internationally recognized so far, and it has been popularized in Europe, America, Japan and other countries. R32 is a single substance refrigerant. The two cannot be used in common.

From the physical characteristics of these two refrigerants, the air conditioning system using R22 has the highest working efficiency.

Up to now, the air-conditioning industry has been working on the search for alternative varieties of R22 refrigerant, but has not found a refrigerant with better physical properties than R22 and suitable for air-conditioning conditions. Among the alternative refrigerants found, R410a is relatively close to the key physical characteristics of R22, but the working pressure of the air conditioning system using R410a as the refrigerant is more than 30% higher than that of the air conditioning system using R22, which directly leads to the air conditioning The manufacturing cost has risen. Various manufacturers only gradually replaced R22 with R410a under the pressure of environmental protection.

The R22 substitutes currently in use include R407c, R134a, R32, R410a and other types. Among them, R410a is mainly used in the European market, and R134a is mainly used in the North American market. In the domestic market, household air conditioners are currently mainly R410a, and large central The air conditioner is mainly R134a or R22.
